At our company, the calculation of a performance-based bonus for field service employees is based on countless (several hundred thousand) data records. This used to be done with a great deal of manual work in Excel, combined with research in other systems. The recurring time expenditure involved was very high.
That is why we decided on an automated web-based solution from TEQneers.
After the very first meeting, it was already clear where the journey would lead. We received excellent advice during implementation. They also pointed out how visualizations and extensions were taken into account so that they could later be added with little effort.
This automation saved us 16 hours of working time per month and at the same time increased the motivation of our field service employees, who could now see their expected bonus directly via a web portal.
In the business world, there is never a standstill. New processes relating to field service employee performance kept being added. As a result, an enormous amount of manual effort for displaying and maintaining the bonuses built up again over time. Spread across several people, this amounted to a total monthly effort of around 111 hours for the billing department. It quickly became clear that a solution had to be found for this as well.
TEQneers was contacted once again. Although the first project dated back a few years, TEQneers astonishingly knew immediately which project it was.
Together, the extended processes at our company were analyzed and solutions were quickly found that allowed us to automate the corrections and the maintenance. In the end, only the review effort remained.
Here, too, the system was built for the future and the existing system was modernized. Since then, additional modules building on it can be implemented quickly. Particularly commendable is that the team you work with remains constant, and thus an ever better understanding of our needs develops. This also made it possible to quickly launch dashboards for benchmarks and KPIs, eliminating the effort of manual analysis with Excel.
My conclusion: The project has been worthwhile from the very first minute. Up to now, resources in the order of at least one full-time employee can already be put to meaningful use for other tasks and activities.

In addition to smaller software solutions, a web-based application for the planning, execution, and analysis of various inventories was also recently developed. Supported by the native mobile app we also developed, it even offers the ability to scan items including their serial numbers.
